C# .NET Developer
We are currently recruiting for a C# .NET Developer to join our
core product development team. You'll work as part of
the team building new product features and enhancing our
existing products. You must have a strong computer science
degree and a real interest in software development. The successful
applicant will become a senior member of a highly skilled
team, developing our market-leading products used by firms across
the UK, Europe & USA.
We want someone passionate about software development, who
enjoys writing elegant code, learning new skills, and working
in an enjoyable but demanding environment. As a developer in a
small team you will have a lot of autonomy and the ability to
contribute to all layers and aspects of our products. You'll be
challenged and expected to perform, but consequently the
growth opportunities are tremendous.
The role is about as varied as it could be, including:
- Core product development - new features as well as identifying
and solving bugs
- Refactoring and re-engineering the existing codebase
- Increase unit-test and integration-test coverage
- New feature design
- Educating other team members about new features
- Assist customer support analysts with product questions or
issues
- Assist with the definition of functional requirements
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years commercial experience with C# and MS SQL
- Solid fundamentals of programming & computer science, OO
principles and Design Patterns
- Good communication & interpersonal skills, written &
spoken
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and to grasp complex
scenarios and business cases
- Desire to build a career as a software developer /
programmer
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Test Driven Development and automated unit
testing
- Experience developing browser extensions/addons
- Javascript
- COM interop / COM development
- sqlite
- Crystal Reports or SSRS
- CruiseControl or other CI environment
- Infragistics controls

Where we are
You'll be working from our office in Shoreditch/Hoxton. It's
central with good transport links - of course if you can cycle
here that's even better!
You must have the right to live & work in the UK - at this
